Whilst appearing happy on the outside and in their music, Rubix Cuba are a deep and melancholy band (not that you'd guess it) with songs from the heart...which they wear on their shirtsleeves!! “The Rubix Cubans” bring a ball of energy to any stage and are bouncy, photogenic and anooyingly catchy.
Since forming in November 2001, Rubix Cuba has performed a stack of shows, including shows alongside Reel Big Fish, The Porkers, Xavier Rudd, Laura Imbruglia, Area 7, The Butterfly Effect, 1200 Techniques, Maya Jupiter, After the Fall, The Spazzys, The Testeagles, Sick Puppies, Unpaid Debt, National Pornographic, Killing Heidi, Endorphin and Mick Hart. In recent times Rubix Cuba have had the privilege to team up with MXPX (US), Lagwagon (US), Frenzal Rhomb, The Managers (NZ), The Bronx (US), The Von Bondies (US), Gazoonga Attack and to tour with the kings of cool, The Royal Crown Revue (US).
