Shadow Dreams is a hard rock band formed in 2007 from Auckland, New Zealand. Deline Samaka and Baxter Massey were the founding members of Shadow Dreams. On 31st May, 2007 the two members were offered the opportunity to gig at Auckland’s Forde’s Bar under the name “Shadow Dreams”. Baxter played the vocals/guitars role while Deline played guitar. Despite the lack of drum beats and bass, the crowd response was awe-inspiring which later led the two members to take Shadow Dreams further into the Auckland’s rock territory.
Subsequently, Jason Delrio joined forces to become the prominent vocalist for the band. Glen Meltzer (drums) and Bevan Weir (bass) were later added to the Shadow Dreams composition. Since forming the band has gigged around Auckland at Forde’s bar, Shadows bar, The Thirsty Dog, Hunters Country Lodge, and the Glenfield Tavern.
Shadow Dreams enjoys a schizophrenic range of rock originals sounds, with their hard rock songs such as "Misery", “Legacy of a Downfall”, “Distance”, “Down”, “Unknown” and the title track "Shadow Dreams” to the slower tempo ballad of "Talk to Me".
Shadow Dreams vows to continue to take their musical talents and creative abilities to ROCK.
