Profile for IanMcT

Auckland

I play Alto and Tenor Sax.
I am looking for a Piano/Keyboard player to learned some songs and jam with.
My style is mixed with covers, latin, light jazz and rock.
I play the 'sung words' as a lead with my also and harmony/riffs in a band situation.
Alto examples - Moondance, Samba Pa Ti, Let It Be, Havana, Stand By Me,
Tenor examples - Shake Rattle & Roll, Here Comes the Rain, On Broadway, Hey Jude, Rock Around The Clock, Aint No Sunshine,

I don't really do gigs, but I'm working on the sax riffs for following. It's for one-off private gig with a group in November, which will repeat in February next year. It would be great to do s duo with a piano. I will do 2-3 of the above and I am learning - Sorrow - David Bowie, Brown Sugar, Waiting For A Friend - Stones, You May be Right - Billy Joel.

From the left field, I do the following as a set [songs connected together as a single] - Somewhere Over The Rainbow, What A Wonderful World , Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Love Me Tender, Oh When The Saints, Mac The Knife, Hit The Road Jack and Can’t Help Falling In Love.

I have a place to jam at my home in Herne Bay or I can travel. I'm available during weekday or weekends.
