With just three weeks until Milly Tabak & The Miltones release their stunning new Americana record Honest Woman, the band share the upbeat single Liven Up The Night and announce an album release show at Auckland’s home of Americana, The Tuning Fork on Saturday 15 August.
Liven Up The Night is a catchy uptempo ode to the power of female love and features a blistering performance from Tabak’s all-star band Liam Pratt, Guy Harrison, Chip Matthews and Tom Broome.
“I want this song to be a power ballad to encourage women to embrace our true selves,” Tabak says.
“Roller skates are so fun and flirty! Two women on skates twirling and dancing to this track seemed like a dream and I can’t wait to show the video to the people who inspired the song.”
Known for their high energy live show and brilliant musicianship, Milly Tabak & The Miltones will give fans the first chance to hear Honest Woman live at a special album release show on Saturday 15 August at Auckland’s The Tuning Fork. Tickets are on sale today at Moshtix.
Milly Tabak & The Miltones will also support Dave Dobbyn at Spark Arena on Saturday 12 September.
Honest Woman will be released on vinyl via Border Music and digitally via DRM on 7 August. Listen to Liven Up The Night now on streaming services.
