The irrepressible T-Bone Announce Wellington Show

22 July 2020 - 0 Comments

T-Bone present a soulful blend of high-energy Americana music played on guitars, mandolin, banjo and fiddles with close vocal harmonies and fiery instrumentals.

Comprising of Lower Hutt lad, Gerry Paul, American import Richard Klein, Whangarei multi instrumentalist Dusty Burnell, double bassist Aaron Stewart, and musical genius Michael Muggeridge, T-Bone play an eclectic mixture of styles within the Americana genre, drawing on their backgrounds in Old Timey, Bluegrass, Country, Cajun, Zydeco and Blues.

Brought together not only by their love of music, but also their obsession with food, wine and beer, the ex-chef, ex-restaurateur and current spearfisherman get together regularly in the capital to cook kai moana, sample Italian wine and play music. The last three years have seen the group playing shows at CubaDupa, Newtown Festival, Wellington On A Plate, Auckland Folk Festival, Tora Tora Tora and Beervana. Chosen for their entertaining shows and fun loving energy, the group had audiences crying out for more.

Join four of the capital’s finest acoustic musicians for an evening that will have you laughing, singing and dancing.

Tickets available from Under The Radar.
