Tamaki Makaurau prog-rock sweethearts Outside In share another look into their psychedelic world with an official video for their epic 6-minute track Mushrooms. Follow guitarist Jonnie Barnard as he embarks on a mind-warping journey all from the seclusion of lockdown.
Created entirely by their own vision, with Jonnie staring, shooting and directing the video solo from lockdown with Mikey Brown (vocals), and his brother Ashton Brown writing and directing the video remotely, their video encapsulates their unique flair for aesthetically breathtaking scenes and clever storytelling.
2020 has been a busy year from Outside In, having released their debut album Karmatrain in May, which received high praise from the prog community worldwide, followed up by a selection of beautifully-shot live performances courtesy of their label AAA records, and also finding themselves making the official New Zealand charts.
