Loop & Native Sparkling are excited to announce Anna Coddington is hitting the road to Test The Waters. This run of intimate, solo shows will see Coddington testing new material across the country, and reconnecting with fans and friends who will get the first glimpse of these new tracks.
Tickets are on sale now for the first leg this special run of shows, with upper North Island will be announced in the coming weeks.
These shows will proceed under strict Alert Level 2 protocols, with limited capacities and extra security measures in place. Each event will adhere to the New Zealand Events Sector’s Voluntary Code with regards to safety around COVID-19.
Hard at work on her first album in nearly four years, these shows will come as Coddington releases her first single from a new project created alongside award-winning musical duo LIPS. The first single, The Saint (with stains), will be released just before the tour. Coddington will road test this and other new material, alongside tracks from her acclaimed back catalogue, all in their original form- guitar and vocals.
Coddington is known for her stunning voice, songwriting prowess, and versatility. She is a regular contributor with Fly My Pretties, has performed at NZ’s top music and arts festivals, produced for other artists and projects, and has sung her way around the country on numerous tours.
Currently putting the finishing touches on her first release since 2016’s Luck/Time, the Test The Waters tour will give audiences an opportunity to not only gain a sneak peak at the new material, but also to catch Coddington in intimate settings across the country.
