With new dates announced for early 2022, audiences in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch can look forward to witnessing the band we hold so dear to our hearts. Get ready for Blister In The Sun, Gone Daddy Gone, Kiss Off, Add It Up, American Music, Please Do Not Go and so many more!

FRI 11 FEB 2022 AUCKLAND, LOGAN CAMPBELL CENTRE (Ticketek)

SAT 12 FEB 2022 WELLINGTON, THE OPERA HOUSE (Ticketmaster)

SUN 13 FEB 2022 CHRISTCHURCH, ISAAC THEATRE ROYAL (Ticketek)

"Violent Femmes Fans! We are all dressed up and nowhere to go. Half the band are in USA and the other half are in Australia. We can’t get together with Covid restrictions in both places. So we’re postponing our long-awaited New Zealand tour to February 2022. Thanks for your patience and be assured we want to see all of you and play for you when the coast is clear. In the meantime stay safe!” - Brian Ritchie / Violent Femmes

Violent Femmes eponymous debut from 1983 was THE soundtrack for so many. It was – and still remains - a firm favourite and a very influential record with its rugged pop sensibility and themes of alienation, isolation, sexual frustration and angst.

Violent Femmes have continued to release great albums, and for their return to New Zealand shores they come with a brand new album - their 10th - Hotel Last Resort, which resides among the band’s finest work, simultaneously refining and redefining their one-of-a-kind take on American music.

Don’t miss Violent Femmes – the legendary Gordon Gano, Brian Ritchie, Blaise Garza and John Sparrow - live around New Zealand in February 2022 performing classics from across their entire career.

Tickets for all shows remain valid for the new dates. Refunds are available up to Thursday, October 22nd 2020 for those who can’t attend on the new date. Check with your local ticket agent for full details.
