Up-and-coming New Zealand artist and producer IPSY has today released Tribute To Selfishness - the fourth single from his upcoming EP.
The genre-defying Tribute To Selfishness further establishes IPSY as a name to watch on the New Zealand electronic scene and showcases his unique style and vibe, which pushes into unchartered territory.
Written as a powerful and reflective love letter to himself, IPSY says, "I have never written about anything that doesn’t directly relate to me, sometimes metaphorically and sometimes very directly. However, this song is much more true and closer to my heart than anything I have ever written and I can’t wait to share it."
Tribute To Selfishness follows in the footsteps of already released tracks Demons, Devine (Red Eye) and Pure! and makes way for the release of his next EP, Who Are You Now due for release in early 2021.
Hailing from Masterton, IPSY - whose real name is Sebastian Vallance - played in various bands growing up. But his deep passion for music really took flight when he discovered electronic music and its endless possibilities at 13.
After biding his time in the Soundcloud arena as a strictly electronic / instrumental music creator, IPSY has diversified and combined many aspects of R&B and pop with a heavy electronic foundation to create his own unique, genre-bending style.
