Pollstar, the internationally recognised live music industry publication, has advised, that in the first quarter of 2021, Eccles Entertainment, a New Zealand company 100% owned by Brent & Helen Eccles, has come in at #1 promoter worldwide.

“I was totally amazed and overcome when I heard the news” Brent Eccles said, “I know these are strange times we are living in, but hey a number one is a number one and we’ll take it!”

We are extremely fortunate that we can run live concerts at full capacity in New Zealand and we have only mildly been interrupted by Covid-19. We also put measures in place with many of our events that allowed for alternative dates should Covid strike causing lock-down.

A big thanks to all the Eccles staff for their commitment and dedication to our artists. 

In the same issue Six60 came in at #1 live artist tours, Th Dudes #5 and Alien Weaponry and Villainy all in the Top 50.

We acknowledge the many people we have met in the last 46 years in New Zealand, Australia and internationally who have helped shape our business. That goes for all the managers, labels, agents, road crew & venues and let’s not forget the amazing artists we have the honour of touring and representing.

Eccles Entertainment was formed by Brent & Helen Eccles in 2000 and 90% of their business is touring New Zealand artists.

Although no international acts have been able to tour here in recent times, Eccles Entertainment continues to represent Frontier Touring, Illusive Presents, Chugg Entertainment and A Day On The Green in New Zealand.

We should also take this moment to reflect on the great loss of our personal friend and inspirational leader Michael Gudinski who passed away on March 2, 2021 unexpectedly.
