At Capacity is a reflective song of simplicity and space, supported by the backbone of a mellow acoustic guitar riff. It’s a deeply personal track, and an introduction to some of the important emotional concepts that run throughout the upcoming album.
“The album definitely has a softer side and this is the beginning of that. Also the concepts of love, family and adulthood fall into the I Am The Mirror themes of identity and self reflection.”
The video, shot by Si Moore of Bayly & Moore, edited by AJ Gibboney and animated by Scott Cleary (And That) himself, features his wife Stephanie with their kids, following the personal nature of the song’s lyrics closely.
“The video, like the song, is very personal - Like, literally “my family” personal. I was hesitant about it at first, especially putting my boys in there - Then I thought, it’s no different than posting on Instagram or anything. I think the people who the song is about being in the clip nearly makes the song complete - It’s like a full finished concept and emotion.”

The release of the first single I Am The Mirror and today’s release At Capacity, marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for And That, which launched in 2019 with the EP, This. Produced by Zac Farro (Paramore, Halfnoise, Becca Mancari) and mixed by Carlos de la Garza (Cold War Kids, M83, Cherry Glazerr), This was released by Zac’s own label, Congrats Records.
Easy going, feel-good and uncomplicated is the And That mantra and that’s exactly what fans can expect from the 11-track I Am The Mirror album, set for release in May. At Capacity takes us one step closer to hearing the full album, which you’ll be yearning for after hearing this latest single.
