NZ Rock Band Sidewinder Releases New Single 'Mississippi Fire' on June 8

25 May 2021 - 0 Comments

Wellington rockers Sidewinder have followed up of their successful first single, Sirens with their latest offering, Mississippi Fire.

Sidewinder is a new combination of experienced musicians with a sound described as ‘bluesy desert / southern rock with a grungy aftertaste’.

Mississippi Fire is the second single off the upcoming album recorded at The Surgery Studio with James Goldsmith engineering and mixing. Mike Gibson of Munki Studios did the mastering.

Sirens has already received a satisfying amount of radio play both in New Zealand and overseas as well as a rapid uptake on streaming platforms and positive critical reviews.

Further songs have also been recorded and will be released in the following weeks. A full album is planned for later this year.
