Mac Summer drops his brand new single, a gnarly drum & bass/trance track Hands In Our Tills’ featuring Melbourne-based MC Wasp. The hard-hitting and electrifying track explodes with intense and gutsy guitar riffs, explosive beats and dynamic vocals, nodding towards acts like Prodigy and Pendulum.
This debut release from the live drum & bass act comes with a powerful statement, says Mac Summer, “Hands in Our Tills tells a story of the imbalance in our world, and how evil forces control humanity. I wanted a song that inspires people to do something themselves to bring change and balance”.
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Mac Summer is looking to knock down doors with his eclectic production style, ranging from soothing late-night trance to liquid drum & bass that’s as energising as it is emotive. His proficiency as a producer allows for his songwriting to transcend traditional genre limitations.
Drawing inspiration from an abundance of musical styles, Summer’s music combines this knowledge with his experience as a record producer, adding a timeless rhythmic power to songs that render movement inevitable while listening to them. Relatable, striking and designed to make you feel, Summer’s music is a revolution in liveliness and emotion in drum & bass.
