Lazy Fifty Releases 'Wait For Me' Single

21 July 2021 - 0 Comments

Introducing Wait For Me, the first single off Lazy Fifty’s new album 2021: A Lazy Odyssey.

Lazy Fifty has just finished recording their third album 2021: A Lazy Odyssey, set to be released on 17 November 2021, at Roundhead Studios, Auckland, with renowned producer Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Devilskin, The Feelers, OpShop, Ekko Park, Troy Kingi).

Lazy Fifty’s music harks back to the classic rock of the 70's, enhanced with a healthy dose of funk, rocking rhythms and impressive guitar.

Lazy Fifty are Adrian Athy vocals, guitar; Ryan Raggett bass; Ali Sochacki drums. Special thanks also to Greg Haver guest drummer and percussion on the album 2021: A Lazy Odyssey.

The name Lazy Fifty comes from the saying of an old friend. When he asked you for a ‘lazy twenty’ (dollars), you knew you’d never see the money again. That was a long time ago and their friend is no longer with us. In memory of him, and allowing for inflation, they are now Lazy Fifty.
