Lauren Gin returns with her brand new track Say No, showcasing her lauded production skills and songwriting expertise, the single traverses new territory by fleshing out her signature sounds; explosive synth-like drops, complimented by angelic vocals.
Described by Lauren as a "Constant movement of melodic sounds that add depth, yet not overly heavy for the ear", Say No marks Lauren's 5th year as a DJ, and her second making music. 2020 saw her premiere her debut EP, Supernova, on George FM, a project that deftly combined her trap and future bass roots, putting her stamp on what is now an exciting musical career.
Lauren Gin is a New Zealand DJ and producer delivering heavy Trap and Future Bass music to the electronic scene. Becoming a DJ at 20 years old, Lauren has fast become one of the country's most well-known DJ's, having played at festivals such as Rhythm & Vines, Splore, Bay Dreams, Soundsplash and Electric Avenue, as well as internationally in LA, Bali, Portland.
Passionate about raising the voices of females both in and outside of the music industry, by day Lauren is a formidable advocate for females in business at Icehouse Ventures, NZ's most active venture capital firm, personally raising millions for NZ's first fund exclusively investing in female founders.
