Oceanspace is thrilled to announce the release of their debut single Silver City Rain, available everywhere from August 20th, 2021.

Silver City Rain conveys the band’s unique sound and style with likes to bands such as The Doors and Talking Heads, with an electro-dance and psychedelic surf rock twist. This is their debut single release as a band.

In less than a year, Oceanspace has successfully headlined and sold out gigs with bands like Mini Simmons, Masaya and Nicholas Franchise as well as landed slots in well known music and arts festivals in NZ. The seven-piece band appeals to a wide crowd with their eclectic sound and theatrical genre-bending performance. To capture the energy and feel of their live performances, the single Silver City Rain was live-recorded in the home of Sound Engineer, Drew Kirk, in Gisborne with the overdubbing of vocals.
