Top Auckland recording studio now offers finance for recording- no deposit; up to 36 months to pay; weekly or monthly repayments from $12 p/w.

Beaver Studios’ managing director Simon Holloway is excited at the opportunity to offer a finance facility to recording artists- ‘Recently the music industry has seen the retrenchment of the major labels from investing in local musicians. Although there are service providers offering promotion and marketing expertise targeted at bands and musicians to replace what the major labels used to offer, to date there hasn’t been anyone out there helping out with possibly the most important facet the majors brought to the table- money.’

Beaver Studios’ finance facility removes the restrictions for bands implicit in a recording contract. This is a new alternative source of capital to that historically provided by a recording contract advance.

To date, a big hindrance to independent artists realising their recordings to full potential has been a lack of ready funds. Beaver Studios’ access to finance provides money up front, so that artists can get on with making and releasing their music.

The financing is available for projects at Beaver Studios. Finance options are available from $1,000 up to fully funding album budgets. Three track demo recording packages at Beaver Studios start from $1,800 excl. GST.

Applications for finance can be processed and approved within two hours, subject to standard lending criteria.
