John Paul unleash their heart felt melodic debut single 'If Your Not Here' available worldwide Friday 1 October 2021.
John Paul is an eclectic mix of musical influences with elements of Lewis Capaldi and Ed Sheeran with influence from songwriting greats like Lennon and McCartney. The debut single delivers a melodic style which reflects an innocents, coupled with John Paul’s unique interpretation of the song, all wrapped up in a well produced debut release.

John Paul is working with the great music production talents of Grammy nominated, Aria winning, UK music producer Steve James who now resides in Brisbane Australia, where the track was sent for mixing, magic and fairy dust. Steve has worked with many artists over his career including George Harrison, The Sex Pistols, The Jam, Shirley Bassey as well as NZ band Weta, who’s breakthrough album Geographica was produced by Steve.
Earlier this year John Paul caught the ears of New York A+R veteran Jason Jordan who then signed them to his US label. Jason who is no stranger to the music industry and has held positions such as VP of A+R for Hollywood Records (Disney’s record label) A+R director at Columbia Records and currently is VP of A+R at Symphonic in Brooklyn NY.
If Your Not Here is the first track of many to be released and offers the listener an intriguing preview of an artist who is ever-evolving and who is set to deliver a plethora of tracks leading up to the debut album release.
