Wellington melodic rock band This Silent Divide announces the release of their debut single Lucinda, now available to purchase and stream on all major music platforms.

Inspiration for Lucinda came from the story of someone who clawed their way back from a dark place of isolation - a tale that’s very relevant for the current world context.
Taken from the band’s forthcoming EP Tall Stories, Lucinda was recorded at Wellington’s Surgery Studios, produced by Toby Lloyd (Sea Mouse, Hollie Smith, Louis Baker, Shapeshifter) and mastered by Chris Chetland at Kog Studios.
The Lucinda music video was filmed by Bradley Garner Creative in and around Wellington.
The band’s second single Don’t Give Up and the Tall Stories EP will be released on 1 November, supported by a 5-date North Island Tour.
Praise for This Silent Divide and Lucinda:
“… incredibly polished, and when Shaun lifts up to sing “It’s cold outside” with that slight edge, it is very powerful indeed.” 5 stars. - Kev Rowland, Muzic.net.nz
“Poneke’s This Silent Divide have huge riffs, huge drums, driving bass and soaring vocals; they are an example of the few bands around that are working hard on keeping the rock lamp lit and doing so with passion. I can’t wait for all the rock fans out there to blast this collection of brilliant jams from car speakers all around Aotearoa” - Toby Lloyd - Producer, Tiny Triumph Recordings
