New Release from Dual - 'Wipe Your Tears Away'

29 October 2021 - 0 Comments

Indie-electronic Dual have released their latest single Wipe Your Tears Away. High levels of anticipation for release come after consultation with iconic band U2, over a lyric in the track which can also be recognised from the well-known track Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Driven by duality and the proud makers of distinctive dancefloor anthems; Dual’s lush new track explores the mindset behind a new lease on life.

“This song’s been with us for a while now and we never thought it’d see the light of day as it needed sign off from the biggest band in the world... U2... we thought we’d take a gamble and see if we could get it cleared. We knew someone who apparently went to school with someone...who knew someone...” explains DUAL on the process behind creative sign off.

“A couple months pass, and we were at that stage of thinking, I guess that’s not going to happen. And then, one night...this email pops up! Are you kidding me – they said yes! They had all signed off on it. We like to think that somewhere in Ireland on a rainy Sunday...Bono heard our song and said...yeah...let ‘em have it!”.
