New Zealand-born, London-based artist BAYNK has released his fifth track of 2021: How Does It Feel?featuring Australian duo Cosmo’s Midnight. Harmonized vocals float over a bouncing synth beat, creating a track that is catchy and hits hard right from the start. Beyond collaborating on this track, Cosmo’s Midnight will be joining BAYNK as special guests on his AdolescenceNorth American Tour in 2022.

Cosmo’s Midnight shares, “So BAYNK approached us a few months ago to collaborate on his upcoming album - he linked us a collection of demos he had been working on and we were really drawn to this tune dripping with nostalgia and a bittersweet tinge. It had me thinking about times when you’re feeling like shit but the weather is beautiful. You kinda wish it was raining so you didn’t feel bad while the sun’s shining on your face. This song came together really quickly after that. BAYNK leaned into my lyrics and melody perfectly, and it ended up a kind of duet about heartbreak and loss.”
The release comes on the heels of singles Estherand Mine. Featuring the velvet vocals of Tinashe interplaying with his own to create a heavenly balance, Esther has taken off and shows no signs of slowing down with over 4 million streams already. Since release, the track has given BAYNK his first ever plays on BBC Radio 1 from Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, Apple Music 1 with Rebecca Judd, and most recently for BBC Music Introducing (London) with Jess Iszatt. Elton John featured Esther on his Apple Music show Rocket Hour. Mine had found its own traction with placement on Apple Music’s New Music Daily paired with a shoutout from Zane Lowe.
BAYNK’s upcoming 26-date headline tour of the United States and Canada has been announced for next year. After his largely sold-out run in 2020, and forthcoming sold out debut performance at XOYO in London this November, his Adolescence tour sees his triumphant return to the road in early 2022.
