Stewart Allan brings us the last single from the 9 Rooms album, fittingly titled The End is the Start.
This eloquent song inspired by him witnessing the funeral pyres in India conveys the tangible and poignant beauty in the cyclical process of creation and destruction. Like new growth arising from the ground after a wildfire, when we accept the natural cycles in life, we are a part of that poetic rhythm. It’s also a song about the way relationships and life constantly ebb and flow through that process, and how through faith in love, hope like fire can be restored anew.

Sammy Riley (Shall We Dance) has created a video that finds positive meaning in the loss of a loved one. The video tells the true story of the director's family being stranded in Australia, far away from their home in Colombia and their loss to COVID-19. Cultural traditions all over the world help remind us that through faith in love, hope like fire can be restored anew.
Stewart’s debut album, 9 Rooms covers nine geographical spaces or rooms. Each is a mini-universe based on significant experiences he has had over the past few years. Each one represents a significant junction in his life up to this point. Stewart is signed to Rattle Records.
