Music News - New Single 'Breathe' for Channeled

The new single Breathe marks the beginning of the next stage of the journey for Channeled.
Now having been a year after Ben’s seizure, this new track takes all the sounds and ideas explored over the last EPs and brings it together to start the process of next album.
While keeping some of sonic ideas from the both Interpretation and Perception, Breathe has a more indie sound at times, inspired by groups like Foals and Bloc Party, while keeping the intensity and feel of groups like Coridian and City of Souls.
Throughout the experience of recovery from his seizure, Ben explored Buddhism, Christianity and a lot of other texts and stories to help understand what had happened and how to make sense of it all. In doing so, he could see many religious figures and leaders twisting the words of these prophets in order to control people. Breathe is about a person who is watching his message get distorted and used to control the masses.
Breathe is set for release worldwide on 14th December in all streaming platforms.
