Following on from their debut single Take It Or Leave It, released Dec 2021, Powder Chutes are excited to release their 5-song Sweet Noise Pollution EP today. The EP was recorded at Studio Sublime, and has artwork by Jersey born Producer, DJ, Snowboarder, Skater, and Graffiti Artist, Scott Nixon. Lead track Mellow Song was written following the first national lockdown in 2020 and is likely the heaviest song on the EP.

Take It Or Leave It was well received, earning 4/5 stars from Muzic.net.nz, featured on MOST FM’s ‘Making Tracks’, and gained online support from Radioscope's New Kiwi Rock playlist amongst others. On the strength of the single and forthcoming EP, Powder Chutes have landed a slot supporting Zed, Stellar*, and Head Like A Hole at Bay Rock 2022, alongside Sit Down In Front, The After and SOMA.

Sweet Noise Pollution... groove-fueled grunge... Powder Chutes are an ambitious rock band from Wanaka.
