Gathering Shadows: A three night festival of dark arts and music

Since March 2007 Shadowplay has been bringing together all things dark and fascinating to audiences in Wellington. Specialising in live bands, DJs and performance artists, Shadowplay has something for every connoisseur of the weird and the wonderful. Whether your music tastes are goth, industrial, post-punk, darkwave or you have an interest in arts and performance then Shadowplay will cater to what your soul craves.

In January 2022 Shadowplay will be bringing their second installment of Gathering Shadows: a long weekend of dark arts and music.

Over three nights and two venues attendees will be treated to a variety of some of the best bands and DJs from across the country.
