Oceanspace Productions is thrilled to announce the release of the single Gypsy With A Mortgage (Live) from Oceanspace now available everywhere.
Gypsy With A Mortgage (Live) is a direct showcase of the band’s unique sound and style as performed at the Te Tairawhiti Arts Festival in Gisborne. This is a live recording mastered by band member Nathan Seaver.
The band is known for its high-energy theatrical performances that take listeners on a genre-bending musical journey. Quickly taking place as one of New Zealand's emerging bands, Oceanspace will be sharing their unique sound at music festivals throughout the summer such as Tora Bombora, Rhythm and Vines, and another that cannot be shared as their lineup has not yet been announced.
Gypsy With a Mortgage (Live) is a great example of what show-goers can expect to experience at an Oceanspace performance.
“This song started out with a riff that our band mate Seaver wrote when he was like 12. We jammed it heaps and kept calling it Gypsy with A Mortgage. The name really inspired me to write a poem about this so-called gypsy and quickly morphed into one of my favorite songs to perform live.” - Emma Moore, Oceanspace Vocalist
