Following on from capacity shows in New Plymouth & Christchurch, L.A.B come to Auckland this weekend for the largest show in the city this summer.
This will be the band's first show in Tāmaki Makaurau since sweeping the Aotearoa Music Awards, winning Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Group & Best Roots Artist. L.A.B were the first act since Lorde in 2017 to win both Single & Album Of The Year in the same year, and the first Independent act since Scribe in 2003 to win Single Of The Year.
Auckland's show at Western Springs will see the band performing tracks from their latest album, L.A.B V. The album's release has seen the band's dominance on the charts continue, with the album currently sitting at Number Two on the Official Album Charts. The latest single Mr Reggae sits at Number Five on the Official Singles Charts, with four other singles featuring in the Top 20.
Saturday's performance at Western Springs will see the band playing alongside a festival-worthy line-up of Sir Dave Dobbyn, Ladi6, The Black Seeds, Katchafire, JessB and RIIKI.
