Music News - Txttunes.com & EyerockDigital.com Launch New Online Music Video Channel

05 December 2007 - 0 Comments

Txttunes.com Offers Major Exposure to New Zealand Artists in North America!

Txttunes.com is thrilled to announce that an agreement has been entered into with the North American online portal www.eyerockdigital.com allowing New Zealand artists to sell music through the creation of an online music video channel.

Attn: Bands & Labels - we want your music videos now for the channel! Txttunes offers artists and labels up to 60% of the profits for each MP3 download and are offering New Zealand bands the first opportunity to sign up and gain massive exposure in the largest music market in the world, the USA.

Contact and Video Delivery: Artists and labels can contact [email protected] for further information and to arrange delivery of your material, which can be uploaded to our FTP site; or sent as DVD for encoding.

The video channel expects to launch first in the US & NZ in December 2007, and in Canada early next year. It will feature over 1,000 independent music videos and mp3 files organised into a minimum of 10 ‘channels’ (Pop, Rock, Roots, Country, etc).

The unique programming of the video channel will allow consumers to watch music videos and if they wish to purchase the music file the user simply enters their mobile number to confirm a purchase. They then receive an MP3 file instantly to their computer and also have the option to side load the song to any digital device including the iPod.

This is a perfect outlet for independent music artists to publish their video and audio content in a secure managed environment.

Selected artists or labels will also have the opportunity to create their own online and mobile channels, giving them access to promote their music, merchandise and live events.

Matt Coleman, CEO of Txttunes, states ‘’We can now engage over 200 million cell phones in the United States, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Boost mobile subscribers. Our service is perfectly timed as the music industry faces numerous challenges as the digital revolution takes hold and changes what is left of the existing CD business. By combining digital music downloads and the massive growth of mobile phones with video, it’s a very compelling offering”.
