Outward Sound Recipients Round Four 2007

11 December 2007 - 0 Comments

Outward Sound is pleased to announce the fourth round of grant recipients for 2007.

Phase One market scoping grants were awarded to King Exports, Ode Records 2007, Southbound Distribution, and Yellow Eye, all of whom will be attending the MIDEM trade show in France this coming January

Phase Two grants, providing the opportunity for in-market performances and related business development, were awarded to Hollie Smith (to promote the worldwide release of her album Long Player), So So Modern (to continue their epic UK/European tour), Katchafire (for festival appearances in Hawaii and the USA in support of their two albums released in the territories), and Independent Music New Zealand (to continue their presence on the Merlin Board through 2008).

Applications for the next round of Outward Sound grants close on December 17 at 5pm. Please note that this is the last round before SXSW, so if you have applied to play at SXSW 2008 you should contact us now.
