When James Constable was asked to perform at his high school graduation in early 2021, he was faced with writing a song that would celebrate the achievements of his peers, whilst also looking forward to the future of adulthood. The result of this songwriting task was his new single, Both Your Hands, which is being independently released to all streaming platforms today.
“Both Your Hands comes out the gates hot and never really looks. Love the lead vocal delivery that sits with power and passion amidst the rolling guitars, thumping bass line low end, dynamic yet hard-hitting live kit drumming backbone grooves, soaring melody lines, reflective and introspective lyrics, quick flowing arrangement, and a clean mix/master. Audibly well crafted! Props are due!” - Music Of The Moon
James plays all of the instruments on the single (with the exception of drums, played by Jonothan Tressler), and recorded and mixed the song at his home studio in Rangiora, North Canterbury. The track was also mastered by Goldenhorse and Grand Rapids member Ben King.
