Van Staden & Böhm (VSB) is the electronic duo made up for Madison Van Staden (she/her, Moody.v & the Menstrual Cycle, Babyteeth) and Amelia Berry (she/her, Amamelia, Babyteeth, Fimo), who released their debut album Hardcore on Related Articles in 2021.
"I love listening to deepstate on the motorway," says Van Staden. "It's really relaxing, so I was kinda thinking of this as a night out track you could sing along to in the car with your mates."
"It was a really fun weird thing to transform Jess' beautiful atmospheric track into something hectic" says Berry. "I really wanted it to have that kind of mid-90s homemade hardcore vibe where it just sounds like a stack of floppy discs.
Reflecting on the remix Morgan says "Van Staden & Böhm did such an amazing job with this remix, it's just SO GOOD. In true VSB fashion they managed to rework this song into an absolute hardcore banger!"
