Music News - Outward Sound Recipients Round One 2008

Outward Sound is pleased to announce the first round of grant recipients for 2008.
A Phase Three market immersion grant was awarded to Brooke Fraser, for the marketing and promotion of her album 'Albertine' in the United States.
Phase Two grants, providing the opportunity for in-market performances and related business development, were awarded to The Brunettes, (to promote the release of their album 'Structure and Cosmetics' in Europe), and The Ruby Suns (to promote the release of their album 'Sea Lion' in the United States).
Phase One market scoping grant was awarded to Liam Finn to further capitalise on opportunities in the US, including appearances at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin this March.
Applications for the next round of Outward Sound grants close on April 28 at 5pm.
