Jameson today announces the New Zealand debut of its live music series in celebration of music, whiskey, and community spirit, Jameson House of Rounds. After a tumultuous 2021 for live music, JHOR is finally making its way across the ditch to New Zealand, taking over Auckland’s Galatos on Friday, June 10 and Wellington’s Meow on Saturday, June 11. Experience live sets from JessB, lil bubblegum, PollyHill and more as Kiwi’s gear up to come alive to the taste and sound of whiskey between mates.

The stacked program will be curated by industry tastemakers, Sniffers. Releasing content with some of the biggest rap and hip-hop names in the world, Sniffers has carefully selected the most sought-after talents to take over the stages this June for a weekend to remember.

Spearheading the lineup is homegrown queen and long-standing mate of Jamo, JessB. Headlining the Galatos, she will be bringing her hard-hitting style of flow that named her as the renewed light of NZ hip-hop. Bringing his spicy beats to the stage will be rising superstar and NZ’s highest-streamed rapper, lil bubblegum. With a cult-like following, sweet flows, and a talent for smooth production, the crowds of Auckland will not be disappointed. Also joining the bill is the charismatic and expectation-defying Auckland local, PollyHill. Gaining traction in the New Zealand charts with her 2021 single Sweepstake with Church Leon and her recent drop Void with Samara Alofa, which hit number one on the BFM radio chart, PollyHill will still be bringing her underground presence to the Jameson House of Rounds stage. Kicking the night off will be the local sister DJ duo, The Katayanagi Twins, who will spin selections from their eclectic collection of most loved tracks for punters keen to get the dancefloor going.

Heading south after blistering performances in Auckland, JessB and lil bubblegum will lead the stacked bill in Wellington, after welcoming the buttery voice of Taupo-born artist Rhys Rich to the stage. Breaking out into the scene and supporting the likes of Church and AP, Vayne, Diggy Dupe and more, Rich is steadily building notoriety amongst a growing New Zealand fan base. Starting the night off will be Aunty El, who’ll be spinning iconic old-school underground hip-hop records into the early evening to get the party vibes going for you and your mates.

Feels great to be getting back into things after a long period of cancellations and rescheduling shows.
