Friday the 13th of May marks the latest song release from New Zealand’s award-winning Pirate Captain Festus McBoyle.
The Captains new single is called This Song is Pants. This is a play upon the old English saying whereby if something is ‘Pants’ then it is deemed to be below par or substandard.
This is the fifth single to be pre-released from his pending fourth album Look Wot the Cat Dragged In.
A clever song with a humorous story to convey the ‘ins and outs’ of wearing trousers. McBoyle’s message is simple but often hard to maintain - Stay present!
This song is definitely not Pants – It was selected as a Semi-Finalist in this years International Songwriting Competition, Best Children’s Song (Last 11% of 22,000 entries) - Enjoy!
