Thousands of spectators flooded in from around the country to witness one of the biggest free music festivals to ever visit Christchurch at the third annual MTV Snow Jam.
Steam rose from the crowd at Terrace Downs, near Mt Hutt as artists from across the country and around the world took to the stage. US hip hop star Lil Jon and Aussie rockers The Vines headlined the free event that also featured performances by Donavon Frankenreiter, The Grates, The Potbelleez, Cut Off Your Hands, P-Money, PNC, David Dallas, Opshop, Trouble Andrew and Phinesse.
