Providing a boost to the local scene in the heart of winter, Christchurch’s Go Live Festival went off late last month.
A wide range of music genres were on offer, with everything from drum and bass through to rock, pop and alternatives acts taking to the stage over the festival’s two-night run.
The festival brought together mainstays of the Kiwi music industry like Jon Toogood and Stellar*, and some of the best up-and-coming talent for two huge nights at the Christchurch
Town Hall. The line-up included 1 Drop Nation, Emma Dilemma, PRINS, Paige Julia and more – 19 exciting acts in total.
Produced by the Christchurch City Council, the festival also hosted a sold out series of Industry Talks to inspire the next generation of rising stars. The interactive sessions were presented by panels of industry professionals, who shared their own experience,
tips and tricks.
Go Live Festival will be back again in July 2023, keep an eye out for future announcements.
