I Am Your God is Xile’s debut full length album. The album was recorded in-between a hectic touring schedule of 2018/19 at Sledge Hammer Studios Brisbane with Sean Delander of Thy Art is Murder.
The album was released on March 27th 2020, not too long after New Zealand went into it’s first lockdown. Though it received great reviews from a range of local and international media, the band were not able to play a show and international tour plans were also derailed. Like most musicians, shows are the best way to promote a release and Xile prefer it, having toured extensively since their first release.
This is Kiwi Hardstyle in its hardest, most raw form.
Xile are finally making their return to the stage in New Zealand to play the new album I Am Your God live front to back and remind everyone how a kiwi hardstyle show goes down! They kick things off with a hometown show, down the road from Grafton, at Whammy Bar on October 1st. Then they head to Christchurch on October 8th to play Embankment Tavern and give those in the south the hardstyle show they have been waiting for.
After recently witnessing the wild show that was Antagonist A.D (which Luke is also a member of), you won’t want to miss this one either. Get your tickets now! Special guests to be announced…
Xile is New Zealand born Hardcore, from Grafton, AK. The kiwi five-piece blends in the flavours of European Beatdown and Death Metal to create their own brutal yet polished sound, a Hardstyle of their own. Relatively new to the scene, the band hasn’t stopped touring since their first Grafton EP release in 2016. With the support of BDHW Records the band has seen even more international exposure. Releasing their debut album I Am Your God March 2020 amidst the global pandemic, the band is ready to hit the road as soon as they can to promote this monster album. Known for their hard and fast live shows spreading the ‘Kiwi HardStyle’ they are a band to listen to and witness live.
