Following their recent successes with a busy live schedule and music releases, Capgun Corp is back with The Force - a funky and bumpin’ solo track from founding member Sugar James. Produced and performed by the man himself, The Force utilizes his classic hip-hop style, infectious rhymes and knockin’ beat to encapsulate the feeling of breaking free.

After a long year getting Capgun Corp up and running and helping other fellow members create their music, Sugar now has the time to begin releasing his own music from the bank that he has been building. The Force represents a breaking of the chains for Sugar, putting all second guessing aside and acting as a spearhead for a string of solo singles to release over the coming months.

The song leads in with Sugar counting in the beat backed by a brass lead, and on the four the beat drops in heavy with a triumphant brass ensemble and heavy boom bap drums. Through the into, Sugar puts his foot down and announces his solo return.

The intro leads into the first verse where, accompanied by Sugars hearty and smooth vocals, the beat switches up for a short break-down style transition before switching back to the brass ensemble accompaniment. Through the first verse, Sugar puts his foot down and establishes his aspirations in an unapologetic, funky manner. 16 bars later, the hook is initiated via a scratch solo from himself.

The second verse begins with another beat switch up accompanied by his vocals delving into his sense of perfectionism and ability to create the whole track from scratch. From here, his foot presses further to the floor establishing a firm stance on sticking to his guns and coming with force.
