18 months since releasing his last single, James Hunter has been performing countless successful and sold out shows around Aotearoa. During this, he also formed his live band which has now become the titular musical project that he creates under: James Hunter and The Gatherers.

Revelation is a gritty, rhythmically dark and energising record that showcases a more powerful sound that now accompanies James’ music thanks to his new band. James is asking more questions than he’s able to answer: “Who can shift our fate?” “Who let the one in charge regulate?” Revelation is a cry of existential crisis that is erringly resonant in the current world climate.

Revelation is the first single off the groups third EP, Memories of the Future which will be slowly releasing from now until April 2023.
