One of New Zealand’s most iconic Electronic Dance tracks has had a shakeup for 2023.

Lee Mvtthews’ double platinum hit, Take Over Feat. NÜ has officially been remixed by the Godfather of Kiwi House music, Dick ‘Magik’ Johnson.

Pulling from his roots, Dick delivers a sensational remix with euphoric sounds, punchy drums and a driving bassline, which culminates in an uplifting Summer anthem. The lads decided to team up after Dick posted a clip to his Instagram, ‘Turning DNB anthems into 4/4 for my festival sets’. As soon as the Lee Mvtthews boys heard it, they were keen to release it officially.

Tom exclaims “We always wanted a House remix of Take Over, and this is the perfect rendition”, to which Graham adds “This version is so fun, it’s bouncy but has a bit of kick to it too, great for any setting”.

You heard it here first, ideal for the gym, the club, the open road.. whatever you’re doing this Summer, Dick Johnson’s remix of Take Over is the perfect soundtrack.
