Kip Moore announces debut New Zealand show this March

08 February 2023 - 0 Comments

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Kip Moore has announced he will make his anticipated New Zealand debut next month. After multiple Australian visits, the Nashville-based artist will finally cross the sea, performing for the very first time at Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday 21 March.

General public tickets will go on sale at 1pm on Friday 10 February (local time).

Known for his captivating live show and with a reputation as a fierce all-in performer, Kip Moore never fails to deliver an unforgettable music experience. “One of country’s more thoughtful artists” (Billboard), Moore has toured the world earning acclaim and building his dedicated fanbase globally.

Much-loved by his Antipodean fans, Moore has sold out multiple headline dates in Australia and around the world, along with a headlining slot at the country’s leading country music festival, CMC Rocks QLD, this year.

Praised by Noisey as “an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylindersKip Moore has blazed his own trail, with “a bit more Southern rock than traditional country… to be a Kip Moore fan suddenly became a marker of your having a certain refinement in your country-music taste” (Chicago Tribune).

Splashing into the mainstream in 2012 with his double-platinum hit Somethin ‘Bout A Truck and followed up with a trio of ambitious, critically acclaimed albums, Moore has established himself as a force in country music. Released in mid-2020, his fourth studio album Wild World is a revelatory collection penned as Moore travelled the globe pre-pandemic. With his latest releases If I Was Your Lover (feat. Morgan Wade) and Fire On Wheels, Moore returns to volume-up groove-driven country anthems.

Co-written by Moore with Matt Bubel and co-produced with Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three) If I Was Your Lover garnered immediate attention from fans and critics for its ear worm qualities and accompanying sultry music video.

This March, one of Nashville’s most dynamic live performers will touch down in Auckland for a very special night of music. If you love country, don’t miss your one chance to experience Kip Moore live next month!
