We Will Ride Fast Release New Single

22 February 2023 - 0 Comments

We Will Ride Fast are overjoyed to share the release of Best Burner, the first single from their forthcoming album Army of Indivisible Zombies. A snappy post-punk anthem that demands the abandonment of seething personal bias.

The video, made by We Will Ride Fast musician and visual artist Kyle Sattler is a DIY stop-motion masterpiece made entirely of domestic cardboard boxes and everyday cellophane. Post-covid symbolism is on full display with the use of a Hello Fresh delivery box featuring the words "simply delicious", as the character burns.

Tauranga-based psych-rock trailblazer We Will Ride Fast, is the musical output of singer/multi-instrumentalist Kyle Sattler, formerly bassist/vocalist of New Zealand sonic punks Frayden (also Seedy Burners, The Bennies). Described as the Prince Rogers Nelson of the Bay of Plenty, We Will Ride Fast delivers a genre-defying, hybridised sound, that plays with and intertwines elements of alt-pop, psych/doom/industrial rock and heavy bass.

"Burn it to the ground with collative elements from the centre of your entire physical solid' - Kyle Sattler
