Today marks the announce of brand-new project from Kiwi duo No Comply: with EP BKAKITT set for April 28th. To celebrate the news, today also sees the release of late-night anthem What Will U Be? Feat. Chef Mob.
Soundscapes burst into life on What Will U Be? Feat. Chef Mob massive synths and iPhone recorded guitars breathe into the listeners ear on the incredibly relatable new single. Featuring creative collective Chef Mob, a community of new Kiwi artists – the collaborative track is a must listen.
“What Will U Be? is a raw (and honest) take on a relationship filled or once filled with love and everything that comes, came, or is yet to come with it.” – Fynn, of No Comply
“It was written in a time we were all somewhat lost. At a crossroad in life feeling nothing but the weight of emotions inside and needing an outlet.” – J.Ron, of Chef Mob
Prior to What Will U Be? Feat. Chef Mob, Kiwi brothers Ethan Blackwood and Fynn Blackwood have been setting the tone for a new era, with recent singles giving fans a taste to the EP. From what we’ve seen so far, each single is as packed with energy as the next. Title track BKAKIT released late 2022 signalled the smoke signals for the new season, hip hop heater No Mercy Feat. INF served as a hard-hitting reminder that No Comply is not here to play, and summer groove’ I’ll Be Fine hit #14 on the Most Airplay NZ chart and #4 Hot Singles NZ chart.
