Created for high-school students, The Tuning Fork present All Ages Pass Feat. Muroki, Paige and Where's Jai at The Tuning Fork on Sat 22 April!
With the goal to encourage young people to attend local gigs in a safe,
accessible and inclusive space, The Tuning Fork plan on continuing to have more
all-ages events throughout the year with diverse line-ups and popular
headliners.
Muroki
With a string of super
chilled bangers under his belt including the platinum hit Wavy, Raglan’s Muroki is delivering on the promise that saw his self released debut picked up by BENEE and played by Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio show back in 2020.
Signing to BENEE’s Olive Records label, Muroki released the Dawn EP in 2021 and Muroki’s second EP came in 2022. Heading East featured the dancefloor heater Find Me and another tasty selection of roots pop. That year he also made two tours to Australia, two more national tours of Aotearoa and numerous festival appearances.
On stage and record, Muroki is emerging as a shining talent, bringing a growing audience to his soulful sound.Paige
In 2020, Paige made her
mark with her critically acclaimed EP, Always Growing, which earned her two nominations at the 2020 Aotearoa
Music Awards for ‘Pop Artist of the Year’ and ‘Breakthrough Artist’. She also
picked up the award for ‘Best Māori Female Solo Artist’ at the 2021 Waiata
Māori Music Awards.
Paige has toured with some of the New Zealand’s
biggest acts, such as Drax Project and Six60 and has played at some of our
biggest festivals, including R&V, Bay Dreams and Homegrown. She has also
opened for international acts like Holly Humberstone, George Ezra, Ruel, grentperez
and Nina Nesbitt.
Where's Jai
Where’s Jai are a six-piece band from the North Shore who create original alternative indie rock songs. Their music pulls inspiration from many different genres combining together to make unique groovy sounds.
