The Doublejumps, the three-piece guitar pop band from Taranaki, have just unveiled their new single and music video Lazy.
The video is a beautiful montage of moments from the band's recent tour of New Zealand, featuring the band on the road, impromptu river swimming, visiting friends, playing shows, and an assortment of other colourful adventures across the country.
The video was filmed by the band (Kayleb, Olivia and Rodney) themselves on an old camcorder, capturing the essence of their do-it-yourself approach.
The result is an authentic and charming look into the band's life on tour, perfectly complementing the laid-back vibe of Lazy.
Lazy is the latest achievement for The Doublejumps, who have self-made four music videos and recorded an album set for release later this year via Italian record label Almost Halloween Time. Their unique songwriting and the vocal harmonies of Kayleb Duckett and Olivia Day have won them a dedicated fanbase both at home and abroad. The band's success has even led to airplay on RadioX in the UK and RNZ in New Zealand.
The Doublejumps will be playing a hometown show in New Plymouth soon, with details to be announced shortly.
