Anei a Model Home e mihi atu nei. The Christchurch sad songs quartet are here with a single Leaky Home Simulator 2031, a release show, and an announcement of their debut album.

Leaky Home Simulator 2031 is the sound of a band that has shrugged off the reticence of their earlier work. Starting with a snappy riff, the song quickly breaks into an upbeat verse with great guitar and vocal interplay before a joyful but melancholic chorus classic of post 2010- emo revival. A pleasant tension is maintained through the song before ploughing into a loud, slow outro where friends Carb on Carb show up to lend some vocals.
The song is the first taste of their debut album recorded at Roundhead Studios with Steven Marr, and it bodes well, with great production that lets the song, and particularly the vocal delivery, shine. Their powerful performance has convinced two indie record labels already; Papaiti Records will release the album in Aotearoa, while False Peak Records will do the same in Australia. The band celebrate the single release later this month at Space Academy in Christchurch.
Leaky Home Simulator 2031 is available everywhere via Papaiti and False Peak Records.
