alayna announces live shows in support of debut album

24 May 2023 - 0 Comments

New Zealand RnB singer-songwriter, alayna has announced two live shows to support the release of her debut album, Self Portrait Of A Woman Unravelling (July 7).

Performing two live shows, the first on Friday July 7 at Auckland's Big Fan and the second, a special home town show on Saturday July 15 at Level 13 in Rotorua, they are set to be intimate and personal.

Offering a taste of what is to come on the album, alayna has just released her latest single Arrived. An existential undertone creates an initial tension, as alayna’s exquisite songwriting takes her audience on a journey of personal discovery and understanding; the music expanding into a sense of vastness as she realises she “might never ‘arrive’ anywhere”.

Alayna’s debut album, Self Portrait Of A Woman Unravelling is set for release on July 7 and is an “important part of the puzzle that I’ve been piecing together throughout my journey of writing the album.”

It follows alayna’s recently released singles Meteors, Cherry Tree, If You Want My Love and Buckle In Baby (which reached #8 in the Hot 20 NZ Singles Chart.) If You Want My Love has notably already reached over 600k streams on Spotify alone.
