Farewelling Aotearoa the only way he knows how Arjuna Oakes and his band are performing one final time in Wellington bringing their Ka Kite Aotearoa show to Meow on Friday 30th of June before relocating to the UK.
After releasing six EPs over the last four years, and having ripped up stages across the country countless times, it’s time for Arjuna to move abroad to pursue new goals. This show will be a celebration of his time in Wellington and the incredible people/musicians that have shaped his experiences. Featuring a massive set of Arjuna’s pre-existing and unreleased material as well as guest appearances from some of Wellington’s finest, Ka Kite Aotearoa is sure to be a memorable night!
Of the big move, Arjuna says: "Growing up, Aotearoa has massively shaped me as a person and a musician. I've been so fortunate to work with so many incredible people and express myself freely through music. It feels natural now to head abroad and challenge myself and my art. I've always been hugely inspired by music coming out of London and want to go straight to the source."
Tickets for Ka Kite Aotearoa are on sale now through Moshtix and fans are encouraged to get in quickly as this final show for Wellington will sell out.
