This Year Marks The 10th Battle Of The Bands

This year is the 10th year anniversary for the Battle Of The Bands, and entries are now being taken.

The heats for this years Battle Of The Bands will be starting on 10 July 02, and is being held in association with Intergalactic Records, The Rock FM, Channel Z and Rip It Up magazine.

Prizes include the recording and release of a single, a national tour, music gear and more!

Each band needs to fill in an application form (available online @ http://www.intergalacticrecords.com/battle.html or in the latest Rip It Up magainze) and needs to prepare a 1/2 hour set, with a minimum of 3 original songs.

If you wish to enter, you will need to supply a demo and photo if possible, a 1 page biography, entry form and entry fee of $45 per band. Entrants must be 18 years or over.
