Last Saturday (Dec 5TH), saw the last of the regional finals, in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, simultaneously taking place with 3 thrilling live events; displaying some top notch talent; 24 bands took to the three stages that night, judges and audience votes combined to find the last of the local winners; who will now represent their home region at the National Final.
After 2 months, 40 live events and 110 bands; It all comes to a climax with the final of all finals…
The National Final; this Saturday Night the 19th December at Auckland’s legendary live music venue The Kings Arms Tavern. Tickets are available from www.eventfinder.co.nz.
The National Finalists are:

- City of Missiles, South Auckland
- Enercia, Tauranga
- Haylar, Christchurch
- Local Vocal Crew, South Auckland
- Snagon, West Auckland
- Soljah, Northland
- Special Neadz, Oamaru
- Suede Arcade, Christchurch
- The Lost Boys, Auckland
- Unknown Peace, Auckland
- Urban Ersha, Palmerston North
- Zionhill, Raglan
A wide spectrum of musical styles, these 13 bands from all over NZ will ensure a unique, colourful, exciting night of new NZ music. The winning band will receive a host of goodies including professional recording time, live appearances, musical equipment and more.
Fans have the opportunity to cast TXT votes for the National Finalists; fans simply TXT ‘Band name’ to 787. (It’s free to vote for Vodafone users, or 20c for other networks). Voting has been opened less than 24 hours at the time of this release, and over 8,000 votes have already been placed!
